The capacitive screen has been a game changer in mobile phones and tablets, well unfortunately it has set us back several years as far as using a stylus is concerned. There are several options but all of them suck in comparison to the old pressure sensitive screens, but even then nothing beats the accuracy of using the old fashion pen!
Unfortunately the drawback of using a pen is that you can’t EASILY transfer your notes/artwork to the computer, which is a necessity with our current digital age. Well that has now changed thanks to Wacom’s inkling!
The Wacom Inkling consists of two parts, the pen itself and a clip, to use this combination you just use the clip to attach your papers, then the pen detects how much pressure and the location of what you write and transmits that information to the clip.
Now all of this sounds cool I know, but the number one thing you ate probably wondering is price. According to the website it is priced as $199, which is fairly pricy but for the artists and people who prefer handwriting out there its definitely worth it! On the bright side when you run out of ink you can refill using standard pen refills.
Q4U: Do you think this will be something people should be excited about, or should they save up for a tablet?
