Zipper Headphone Concept Design

For me there is no perfect pair of headphones out in the market today. There are some that are really nice, but they all have some sort of flaw that prevents them from being perfect, one issue that the vast majority of headphones face are the cords getting tangled up. Well this issue may soon be put to an end. As you can see from the picture above, the concept is essentially a zipper that keeps the headphone cord together.

Above you can see a pair in action, and surprisingly they don’t look too goofy, in fact it looks pretty helpful in the sense that you don’t have to worry about wires getting in your way. If you look below you’ll see that there are actually a few extra goodies hidden in the zipper such as volume control and hold!

What I personally would love to see is this pair of headphones actually built into a sweatshirt or jacket and the plug for your player would actually be hidden in the pocket. This would make the headphone cords almost invisible and would reduce a huge wire mess.
