It’s fascinating seeing how much work goes into the Google Search Algorithm. We have to remember that the web is constantly expanding and finding relevant data is becoming a larger and larger problem as time passes–Well it appears that Google is well aware of that problem and is constantly working so that we always get the top search results.
Although we typically don’t see visible changes to the actual search page and its layout, on the backend they have many changes going on to make sure that everything is working in more efficient ways using several different tests.
