Samsung Galaxy Tab 10

This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10, it actually looks fantastic, however we have to remember, like the Motorola Xoom, it’s very new technology so I wouldn’t expect this to be a huge seller (until there is an app base at least).

This is why I recently bought the iPad 2, for the foreseeable future, the iPad is the device to buy being the fact that it has a HUGE app base and currently apps are everything. I will go on record: when it comes to tablets, living in the Android world will be a much better experience.

The reason for that is very simple, Android is very customizable and that’s something you actually care about when it comes to a larger non mobile devices. For example, iPhone you don’t really care about full features since all you care about on a phone is basic quick browsing and security which iOS is great at. When it comes to a tablet you’ll be doing a lot of browsing and a lot of reading, so Android is probably the more ideal choice; when it comes to browsing, iOS is pretty behind. For example on iOS you still can’t download or upload files which tends to be a big pain when working on certain websites, managing multiple tabs is horrible on iOS. The bright side of Honeycomb, is that you basically have the full power of Chrome.
